Most of a wedding happens between the parts on the run sheet. Your dad reading the speech one more time in the car park. The flower girl asleep under a table by nine. We spend the day watching for those, and we stay far enough back that nobody performs for us.
That doesn't mean we disappear. There are three times in the day when we step in and take charge, and we tell you exactly when they are so nothing is a surprise.
Family groups, off your list
Fifteen minutes straight after the ceremony, while everyone is still in one place. You write the list, a loud cousin reads it out, we work through it fast. No group takes longer than a minute.
Twenty minutes for the two of you
Away from the crowd, somewhere we've already scouted. We'll suggest where to walk and what to talk about, then mostly keep quiet. You'll be back before the canapes have gone round twice.
Ten minutes at golden hour
Only if the light is worth it. We'll check the sun times for your date and venue weeks ahead, and slip you out between courses so nobody misses a speech.
Everything else is yours to enjoy. If you want to see what the finished pictures look like, the portfolio lays out frames from a range of weddings, and any of them opens full size in colour.
